First off i went to aruba for a week with my family. It was wonderful to be able to go out to the beach every night, watch the sunset, and admire the beauty God has given us on this earth.
Heres me one afternoon, and yes mate, that is a pirate ship

Kiteboarding was the best sport i have ever done

Nothing like swinging from a pirate ship into the carribean
We took this "pirate ship" on a snorkling tour and explored a sunken german U-boat
*i put pirate ship in quotes because the blasted thing didnt even have a plank!?!?!

Cwsc was overall a good time, having its ups and downs, yet there were new friendships made, and old ones strengthened. I thank God for the friends that i have made at worldview and the speakers who dedicate their time to impart to us their wisdom. Sadly, people and events are often not appriciated enough until they are allready gone. but we will always have regrets. I really liked the speeches on eccleastices by Schneider, a positive view on the vaporness of life. (not meaningless) :) We find our purpose in fearing God and keeping his commandments, although much easier said than done. It can be hard to remind ourselves of this when the entire world around us is trying to find meaning in other meaningless endeavors, yet we must constantly and consciously live in our past and future, remembering thoes before us and hoping in the things to come. The speech was a good reminder for me. Even better, he made Simon and Garfunkle refrences. I also liked the lectures on art and a defence of a standard for what is true good and beautiful By Mr. Wilbur. And anyone who can intelligently criticize kinkade gets brownie points :) His argument reminded me of Lewis' argument for a standard of morality in The Abolition Of Man. Lewis argues that if we abandon morality, we cannot help but become animals and destroy ourself, and this man argued that if we abandon a standard for art, only found in the Bible, we become no better than modern artists AHHHH

The talentshow was very well done this year. Some of the music struck me right to the heart in anticapation for what note or melody would come next. From rachels amazing voice, joes talented guitar playing, many blurryhanded and creative pianists, and a few soothing violin players, to the intense bagpipes which could make a lame man march with joy, suffice to say, i went to my happy place :)

6 days until graduation!!!
well schools almost over and im glad to say i am still alive
my thesis is done and presented, finished all my last tests, and the drama production is over with, and praise God it all went great! I think it was the funniest play we have done. Its about a group of starving artists who fake the death of their main guy make the prices rise. he then pertends to be his twin sister, and the guy trying to make the group of artists fail falls in love with the artist pertending to be a girl.

after that some of us went to one of our classmates graduation party and had wayyy to much fun with helium :)
on another note, my great grandmother died recently, which we were expectings some time soon, but please pray for my grandma

Ahhh...guess who got to sleep in this mornin
Today is senior skip day, and our class was given the keys to the school last night to reak havoc, so we set up a few pranks
We hid all the coffee from the teachers and left a note with clues and riddles leading other clues which eventually led to the coffee. Also, i left a trail of ground coffee from the empty pots to somewhere elese in the teacher break room which had a letter which read "do you really think it would be this easy"
i set up the lab computers so that the cd drive opened every minuite, and other programs like one where the mouse randomly skips around the screen.

we made copies of our faces with the copier and covered the copier room with them

and replaced the piggy bank where you pay for the copies with this pic:

We took our english teacher's couch and put it in the elevator

We put pink flimangos in front of the school,
We filled the soap dispencers with syrup
Im sorry Libby, but we also toilet papered the pics of last years seniors

The next morning we all had a video scavanger hunt at lake wheeler, it was a blast!

Ahh another great posse party.
supendulous to say the least.
after going to a few different restuarunts, avioding some gay restarunt, and disrupting the overall peace and quiet, we decided to chillax and get some burgers

Just finished Spring break!!
I had an aweosme bday
Ice skating was awesome and the twins, matt, and I played some ping pong...of course we used a crutch when playing matt to make it fair :)

yes the Twins were in their zone

And i can thank Libby AND Vickey for this awesome guitar strap she got me

After i tought a few lessons in ping pong we watched a movie

Oh yes...I bought a new Ibanez acoustic-electric...and even better...they had a special deal there so i got another acoustic free!!

me matt and arie went on a snowboarding trip saturday and it couldnt have been much better!
It was snowing just about all day so the slopes were powder for the first part of the day
but it got really icy in the afternoon when me and arie decided to go down the black diamond...or should i say fall down the black diamond
When we were snowboarding at the park i got a call on my cell from covenant and i found out that i got some scholarship money to covenant!! so that was a real blessing and i will be going there next year!! whoo hoooo!

well i hobbled back from snowboarding new years eve..which was an incredibly awesome trip.
i am happy to say that i didnt not break any bones this time but i did hurt my ankle, and it wasnt even snowboarding, it was walking back to the bus...i guess when you wear thoes boots all day you forget you have ankles
somehow i only managed to get the videos where i fell and none of my sucessful runs...enjoy

ive had a great few days...
my cusin and grandma came into town friday so we have been having a blast. we played paintball a few times and worked on the field some. since i dont have to take any exams, there doing nothing at school, and my cuz is leaving tommorrow, my mom let me stay home and hang out with him. we started playin somemore paintball, but i ran out of nitrogen so we played this game where one person has to run to a certian point while the other person shoots at them. well i ran very hard and was focusing on the tree that i was running to when...
*whabam*
i run directly into a tree..and..well...it wins. so if ya see me limping, thats why.
and speaking of limping, yesterday our dog started walking strange and then it got worse and worse. it got to where she couldnt walk straight and was running into walls, falling down, and looked like she was drunk.
it was pretty pitiful
so we took her to the vet and she said the dog should be better in like a week. this morning the dog was perfectly fine so we still havent a clue what that was all about, but im just glad she got over it.

i asked off the 27th-30th from work for a snowboarding trip so if any of thoes days works for any one tell me!
